Carpe Diem

There is always something you are waiting for. Like in Waiting for Godot??

There are infinite probabilities of what can Godot be. However, the most common kind of Godot is "better time."
Everybody in this world is living in a hope that life will get better with time. You will have more money, more love, more comfort, more happiness, and just a bit more of everything you dream of.

But what we don't realize is that each present phase of your life is always, in someway or the other, better than what you will ever have in future.

Take for example a school girl. She thinks it would be so much better to be in college. Turns out — school life was a golden period. A college girl feels how exciting it would be to have your own job. But turns out — Earning is not a cake walk and college life was far better. Then start the dreams the marriage. What happens after marriage is simply missing your old free self!

Each phase of life holds its own importance and are fruitful if lived with complete awareness of its importance.

Life is just too simple. We make it complicated.

Instead of waiting for a not-as-good-as-present future, if we just start living in present with the realization that this day is probably the best day (I am not talking about exceptions here) you will ever have, life would become a treat in itself.
I DO NOT imply that one should get hopeless about future. That's a different story altogether. Here, I am talking simply about living in the present and not worrying about or waiting for future and not making any plans because that simply undermines the value of present.

CARPE DIEM!
